Brainwashing makes insane.
Excerpted From Heat Street: Woke celebrity Lena Dunham says she feels guilty about being a pro-choice activist who has never had an abortion.
“I still haven’t had an abortion, but I wish I had,” Dunham said in the most recent episode of her Women of the Hour podcast, titled “Choice.” Having an abortion would give her a lot more “cred” in the movement, or something.
Dunham has described her podcast as a “safe space” for people to be woke and talk about issues like abortion. In the latest episode, she discussed being taught by her mother at an early age to refer to abortion opponents as “anti-choice” rather than “pro-life,” and took aim at the “cultural stigma” surrounding abortion.
“Something I’ve thought about a lot is the fact that there is stigma around abortion,” Dunham said. “We all know that there’s cultural stigma, it’s hard to put an abortion on network TV.”
The celebrity activist even saw herself to blame for perpetuating the stigma, for being eager to tell people in the past that she has never had an abortion:
But one day, when I was visiting a Planned Parenthood in Texas a few years ago, a young girl walked up to me and asked me if I’d like to be a part of her project in which women share their stories of abortions. I sort of jumped. ‘I haven’t had an abortion,’ I told her. I wanted to make it really clear to her that as much as I was going out and fighting for other women’s options, I myself had never had an abortion.
