Armed Bikers Provide Security For Phoenix Trump Rally Attendees

This is what Mexicans and the left hath wrought with all their violence.

Excerpted from NBC 12: Security for Donald Trump’s rally Saturday at Veterans Memorial Coliseum is being handled by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

But a biker group plans to patrol the vast parking lot surrounding the coliseum at the State Fairgrounds, protecting Trump supporters from any protesters.

“I’m not one to back down,” Cindy Perrin, a former New York cop, who now lives in Fountain Hills, said Wednesday. “I was born in Harlem … I’ve been fighting all my life.”

Back in March, protesters chained to vehicles paralyzed traffic to Trump’s rally in Fountain Hills. In recent weeks, the protests against the presumptive Republican presidential nominee have gotten uglier.

“We don’t want to see women being pelted with eggs,” Perrin said.

She said dozens of fellow bikers in the Arizona Lion’s Guard are gearing up for Saturday’s rally in Phoenix.

The “Lion,” Perrin says, is Trump.

Bikers wearing American flag bandannas will roam the coliseum grounds to help anyone who might feel threatened outside the event.

Perrin said Lion’s Guard members who want to carry weapons are being urged to carry them concealed, so they don’t provoke anyone. Keep reading

PHOENIX (KPHO/KTVK) – Protesters will start gathering near Donald Trump’s rally in Phoenix six hours before Saturday’s event is scheduled to begin. One group says it will offer biker escorts for Trump supporters in case anything gets out of hand.

A flyer for Lion’s Guard Arizona says it will be “providing a safe environment for Trump supporters this Saturday” at the Coliseum. Lion’s Guard members will be wearing American Flag bandanas “so supporters needing our assistance can easily find us.”

“We are a PEACEFUL group comprised of veterans and former law enforcement, as well as Trump supporters,” said a Lion’s Guard organizer via text message. “We are attending ONLY to escort Trump supporters into and out of the rally to their vehicles. We have been informed by DPS of our boundary and expectations.”

The flyer adds that “all bikers and non-bikers are welcome!”

Three Trump protesters were arrested outside Trump’s last Arizona rally in Fountain Hills in March.

Since then, demonstrations have been getting more aggressive. When supporters and protesters clashed in San Jose, Calif. earlier this month, some exchanged punches and one Trump supporter was egged.

Protesters have been circulating a pledge of non-violence. They will gather at Encanto Park at 10 a.m. and either march or drive to the Coliseum at 1 p.m., Roberts said.
